Welcome to AI QuickNote! These Terms of Use govern your use of our mobile application. By downloading, accessing, or using the app, you agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using AI QuickNote, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum legal age in your jurisdiction) to use the app.

 

2. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes by updating the "Last Updated" date or through in-app notifications. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

 

3. User Accounts

In some cases, account creation may be required to access specific features of the app.
You are solely responsible for safeguarding access to your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

 

4. Permitted Use

You agree to use AI QuickNote only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You may not:

  • Use the app for any unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purpose.
     

  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt, or compromise the app’s functionality or security.
     

  • Use the app for commercial purposes without explicit written permission.
     

 

5. Core Functionality and Third-Party Services

AI QuickNote allows users to create voice notes, which are transcribed and enhanced using external services. These services include:

  • Apple Transcription (Speech Framework): Used to transcribe voice recordings into text. All transcription is performed locally on the user's device; no voice data is sent to external servers by us.
     

  • ChatGPT (OpenAI): Used to apply AI-powered presets to transcribed notes. All requests are user-initiated and sent directly from the app to OpenAI’s servers.
     

  • Google Translate API: Used to translate notes into other languages. Translations are performed only when explicitly triggered by the user.
     

We do not store or process any of your content on our own servers. All data remains on your device unless you explicitly share or export it.

 

6. Privacy Policy

We respect your privacy. Our Privacy Policy explains how the app uses local device storage, Apple APIs, and third-party services.
By using the app, you consent to these practices.

We do not collect, store, or transmit your personal data to our servers. All data is processed locally on your device or transmitted directly to external services by your own action.

 

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

AI QuickNote is provided "as is" and without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the app will operate without interruptions or errors.

We make no guarantees regarding the accuracy, reliability, or suitability of:

  • AI-generated content (via ChatGPT / OpenAI),
     

  • Translations (via Google Translate),
     

  • Transcriptions (via Apple SDK).
     

All features are provided for informational and personal productivity purposes only.

 

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, all responsibility for the use of the app and its consequences lies solely with you, the user.
AI QuickNote and its developers are not liable for:

  • Any inaccuracies in transcription, AI output, or translations,
     

  • Any loss of data or productivity,
     

  • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
     

Use the app at your own discretion and risk.

 

9. Subscriptions

Some features may require a subscription. By purchasing a subscription, you agree to the following:

  • Subscriptions may not include trial periods unless specifically stated.
     

  • All payments are final and non-refundable, except where required by law.
     

  • You can manage or cancel your subscription via your Apple ID settings.
     

 

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the app at any time, with or without cause, especially in the event of violation of these Terms.
